Total Time 4 minutes
Servings: 1 people
Course: Drinks

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Unsweetened Cacao Powder
  • 1 big tsp Honey
  • 220 ml Almond Milk

Equipment

  • Microwave

Method

  1. Add the cacao powder to a mug. Add a teaspoon of almond milk and mix into a paste (this technique prevents lumps).
  2. Gradually mix the rest of the almond milk in with the paste and stir well.
  3. Place in the microwave and heat for 1 minute.
  4. Stir and heat for a further 30 seconds.
  5. Add the honey and stir well.

Notes

To make it even easier, you can get a hot chocolate maker such as the Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser. I’ve had mine for a couple of years now and it’s still going strong. For this method, add the cacao powder and milk into the Velvetiser and turn it on. Stir the honey into the hot chocolate once it’s in the mug, don’t add it to the Velvetiser.
